Has Edward Zammit Lewis been investigated over his link to Yorgen Fenech?

Just like Rosianne Cutajar, Edward ?ammit Lewis also received gifts from Yorgen Fenech, although not as much as Rosianne Cutajar received in what was a much more extensive and intense relationship with Fenech. Yet, Edward Zammit Lewis, who appointed the corrupt Victoria Buttigieg as Attorney-General, is still a back-bencher with the Labour Party Parliamentary group.

Has he ever been asked by the press whether he is being investigated by the police over his link with Yorgen Fenech?

    As you are well aware of, investigative journalism in Malta carries, uh, certain premiums.

    The slightest whiff of anti-mafia journalism still carries a death sentence – witness the cow-towing of Herman Gloop/ Saliva Balzan/Tim Diacowtow – bought and funded by the incumbent party thanks to a dumb and mostly illiterate electorate.
    There is no will to investigate the mafia – as the mafia owns the investigators.

    Fuck – even Manuel Delia is softening his once-active language.

    Observe insidiousness in action.
