There is no longer any talk going on by the White House or diplomatic officials about the US port off the coast in Gaza that was ordered by President Joe Biden last month. News was out recently that a US naval ship transporting a pier to Gaza caught fire and had to return back to harbour. It would be embarrassing for the US Navy if this mission challenges its abilities, but the mission is ongoing.
Meanwhile, more aid is getting to Gaza with the Israel recently opening the Port of Ashdod for humanitarian aid to Gaza.
