Apart from the usual suspects, Joseph Muscat, Keith Schembri and Konrad Mizzi, there are more than a dozen of companies and individuals who will be arraigned for money laundering according to a decree signed by Judge Edwina Grima. The Police have six months to seize the assets of these suspects and the Judge has also given full authority to the Police to proceed and seize all the assets belonging to these individuals and companies.
Some of these suspects include Ram Tumuluri, who brokered the original Vitals deal with Joseph Muscat, and Ralph De La Torre, the Executive Chairman and CEO of Steward Health Care. There is a long list of foreigners and among the Maltese there’s Adrian Hillman, interestingly enough, and I suppose that it’s natural that the “boys” will onboard each other onto their different fraudulent schemes.
There is also Ivan Vassallo of Technoline who bought a medical imports company from Simon Cusens, who then sold it to Vitals. Along with Ivan Vassallo there’s also his business partner Pierre Sladden. Along with Keith Schembri there is his company Kasco Foods Limited known as Sciacca Grill Limited. There’s Brian Tonna and Karl Cini of Nexia BT (surprise, surprise). There’s also Kevin Deguara of DF Advocates, who is coincidentally, also Police Commissioner Angelo Gafa’s friend.
There’s also Steward Malta in the list and all its related companies apart from others and a host of foreigners.
