Where’s the progressive President defending the Judiciary?

Of course, everyone conveniently forgot that President Myriam Spiteri Debono is a close ally of the Abela dynasty when she was showered with praises upon her appointment. People often keep repeating their mistakes, and I’m no exception, but at least I have paid a big enough price to learn very well that holding high expectations of politicians when the general expectations are dirt low may  often come from a sense of desperation than objective clarity.
