Riot police begin dispersing crowds in Tbilisi

Over the weekend, riot Police in Tbilisi, Georgia began dispersing crowds of protesters in the centre of the city who have been protesting for more than two weeks. Demonstrators have been protesting against the recently approved “Russian Law” by Parliament which mimics Russia’s anti-foreign NGO law. Riot police charged at crowds, used pepper spray, rubber bullets and water cannons to disperse the crowds. Demonstrators have vowed to return the following morning.
