Justice Minister Jonathan Attard doesn’t deny reading the conclusions of the Magisterial Inquiry

Yesterday, the Minister for Justice Jonathan Attard refused to deny whether he has read the conclusions of the Magisterial inquiry submitted by Magistrate Gabriella Vella before it has actually been published. You can listen to the Justice Minister speaking last 1.30HRS during when he opens a tirade against the Inquiring Magistrate and fumes about the fact that her inquiry cost the state a total of ย€10 million.

The Justice Minister says many other interesting things apart from his implicit admission that the Attorney-General has submitted the inquiry to the Office of the Prime Minister.ย  Jonathan Attard also fumed about the fact that the Magistrate could appoint the experts of her choice and said that this practice should be regulated. Of course he would say this because this is one of the main methods Labour has used to pauperise the Police and make it inefficient, that is by leaving it without any technical experts.

He then blurts out that I make a lot of commentary on Magistrates when he was asked on whether he and the Prime Minister are breaking the law by slandering a Magistrate.

Dear Minister, as a taxpayer, I have no problem with 10 million of my (not your) money being spent on an inquiry that identifies individuals responsible for the greatest fraud in our nation’s history. It is much better value for money than a shooting range that lies derelict, a concert venue that is structurally unsound or a gaggle of overpaid consultants who deliver nothing for what they are paid so please don’t worry yourself on my behalf.
