Updated: Tourism Minister Clayton Bartolo denies meeting Joseph Muscat

Updated, 20.37. Tourism Minister Clayton Bartolo has sent me an email denying that this is his Ministerial car and denied that today he met Joseph Muscat.

Clayton Bartolo has a history of issuing denials which turn out to be untrue.

Earlier today, Minister for Tourism Clayton Bartolo visited Joseph Muscat at his government-funded office in Sa Maison. The number plate of the ministerial car was changed to conceal the fact that it was the Minister’s car, but several individuals have confirmed that it is in fact the car leased and used by the Minister for Tourism, Clayton Bartolo.

    What do you mean the number plate was changed?! And with all due respect to the institutions, but how can persons with such heavy accusations be allowed to leave the island? Are we witnessing the start of a sham? When are all parties including ngo’s going to unite as one front to put an end once and for all to this darkness that has taken over? Unite for crying out loud. No time for petty squabbling. Unite!

    Clayton is being groomed by JM to take over the premiership once he disposes of Abela!
    As you rightly said, Clayton has a habit of denying facts when in fact they were true; such as when he was confronted by his wife and press that he was shagging his office assistant!
