Previous PD Leader Marlene Farrugia endorses Sandra Gauci for the European Parliament Elections

Marlene Farrugia, previous leader of Partit Demokratiku and co-founder of ADPD has endorsed Sandra Guacia for the European Parliament election. Marlene Farrugia resigned as Labour MP in 2015 following her disapproval of Labour’s handling of the environment, with her husband Health Minister Godfrey Farrugia, resigning around two years later over the Vitals and Steward fraud.

    Unless you’re a fly on the wall and in multiple places at the same time it is simply impossible to state that nothing wrong was done as some political exponents are suggesting. It makes perfect sense however to suspect that given the mounting evidence something suspicious however small has been in the works. What’s that expression in Maltese? So if you state nothing wrong was done it’s either you’re a fly on the wall and can clone yourself or you’re part of it or condone it. There’s no being a gahan in this. It’s purely one of those three things. Period.

    Technically the Farrugias quit politics and became independents and then it was Alden who negotiated the ADPD merger.
