Rigging the Administration of the Courts of Law

The Labour government is blatantly rigging the administration of the Courts of Law, as if it doesn’t care that it is obvious enough that it is trying to interfere with and influence the justice system. Just like when they appointed a Joseph Muscat fan to the Court’s evidence room.

Yesterday, Opposition and Nationalist Party MP Karol Aquilina claimed that Labour Party activist Martina Grech was to be appointed as Manager to the newly setup communications office of the Courts of Law. Martina Grech denied this fact, although I still need to verify this story. She was mentioned here in one of my articles here as one of Robert Abela’s loyalists and one of the many young Party activists who were won over his leadership campaign with offers for jobs.

Such an appointment would be quite consistent with the appointments at the Court Services Agency lead by Eunice Grech Fiorini who has allowed Jason Micallef to sit for the court sitting of Joseph Muscat in the exclusive list of attendees, listed as Joseph Muscat’s personal aide. I suppose that Jason Micallef is screwing Joseph Muscat’s pants to make him look less crooked than he is.

Journalists have to apply for permission from the Court Services Agency CEO to be allowed admission and the exclusive list can only include relatives of the accused and journalists.  No one else is being allowed to enter and view these Court sessions despite their historic importance. Undoubtedly these Court sessions should have been televised, or at the very least recorded. Eunice Grech Fiorini is applying discretion and accomodation in favour of the accused, preventing them from facing the inevitable consequence of further national embarrassment and shame. Everything is setup in favour of the organised criminals.

The prosecution is a show trial organised to produce a not guilty verdict. The accused will opt for a jury. Its a stitch up. There are 15 of them, each has three objections to jurors without having to state reason. Do the maths – 3 x 15 = 45 objections. Knowing that the major parties have voter databases with assigned loyalties, the defence can pick a “friendly” set of jurors. Its not foolproof but neither was their road map.

How can this jury rigging be counteracted? The databases of voter preferences are both truly comprehensive and known to be in private hands due to other legal processes. The current Prime Minister and the preceding Prime Minister (the accused) are attacking the judiciary and all opponents as traitors and malign actors. The notion that the court’s decisions should be at best ignored and at worst obliterated is endemic throughout the Labour movement, 50% of the Malta population. Can the Judge or the President insist on the trial being judged by the sitting Judge alone? Or, better still can the Judge move the case to a safer and fairer legal jurisdiction in a foreign EU state?

What a third world banana republic. Get out of there if you can. You owe it to your children.
