So far, and from what I could gather in terms of statements and pictorial evidence, the only Labour Party candidate to the European Parliament who throughout the election campaign did not endorse or have any relation with or to Joseph Muscat is Thomas Bajada.
This doesn’t mean that I would be voting for him, of course, and my preferences have been repeated often enough, but Thomas Bajada does definitely stand out, to a very watchful eye, as the distinct candidate from the rest who are very more eager to use Joseph Muscat as a prop for their game.
This also probably means that Thomas Bajada was the preferred Gozitan candidate as opposed to Josianne Cutajar given her background as an assistant to Keith Schembri at the OPM. It makes sense that Supreme Leader tried to push Thomas Bajada in the election in an attempt to push candidates who are not distracted by Joseph Muscat, however, this effort pales in comparison to the festival of criminality that the other Labour Party candidates made out of the election campaign.
