More on how the Labour Party is breaking up its internal system of meritocracy and democracy. Alicia Bugeja Said has a very interesting back-story to her political ascension. She was personally supported to contest the 2022 general elections by Prime Minister Robert Abela himself.
One of her uncles who lives in Australia is a small millionaire who annually donates a nice sum to the Labour Party. For this reason, Robert Abela has been very accommodating to Alicia Bugeja Said, even rewarding her with a Ministry which she is now wrecking.
