He’s so insufferable that my eyes hurt as I wrote this. Alex Agius Saliba has tried to get back at this Leader and Prime Minster for insulting him privately, by insulting him in public and saying:
“I never found anything ready in my career” in a direct and insulting reference to Robert Abela’s privileged upbringing. Alex Agius Saliba wants to publicly compare himself to Robert Abela while invoking the idea that he is the “man of the people” by comparison.
What total bullshit. The sniveling little shit wouldn’t have survived a week by himself. Alex Agius Saliba is the pinnacle and prime example of a Labour Party politician that was groomed and supported by consecutive Labour Party leaders. He was their favorite subordinate, servant and propagandist and he climbed the ranks of the Labour Party not by principled work or specific campaigns that marked his distinctive skills, but simply by being the Labour Leader’s lapdog.
At home in Tarxien, his parents made his bed, cooked him dinner, and washed his dirty socks until, and eventually, he moved out with his new wife in his thirties whom he married mostly for her surname that starts with the letter A.
He became popular with the Labour Party voters when he was rewarded the prestigious and privileged post of ONE propagandist: a coveted post for anyone who wants to contest the elections with the Labour Party.
So, Alex Agius Saliba is not a product of meritocracy. He’s not a working-class hero who did great feats to climb the steps of his political career. He has built his career on unbridled servilism and focused his European Parliament election campaign mostly on defending Joseph Muscat and smearing Parliament President Roberta Metsola. A political leech of toxic proportions.
Remember, that the first time that Alex Agius Saliba had a public tiff with the Labour Party Leader, was when Alex Agius Saliba insisted on keeping the Labour Party as a criminal organisation.
