Chinese Coast Guard assault Philippine naval supply boats from more than 1000KM away of their mainland

Yesterday, the Chinese Coast Guard assaulted a couple of Filipino naval boats that were delivering supplies to a Filipino naval outpost at the Ayungin Shoal. The incident took place more than 1000 kilometers away from mainland China and around 300 kilometers away from the most near Filipino coast at Palawan.

Over the recent years, China has been encroaching on its neighbours maritime borders including Vietnam and the Philippines even using aggressive tactics in the process in its absurd claims over most of the South China Sea.
