Minister for Tourism gets married in Manoel Island with his PA and then ferries the guests to a DB Group establishment

UPDATED: Manta is owned by the Zammit Tabonas, managed by the DB Group and the land is leased from the government.

Minister for Tourism Clayton Bartolo married his personal assistant, Amanda Muscat, on Manoel Island yesterday. They were then ferried to a DB Group outlet called “Manta” located right on Sliema’s promenade. If my eyes serve me well, the person who joined their communion is Luke Dalli. In any case, it would be great if journalists could ask the Minister whether he actually paid for his reception at DB’s outlet given that they are known to be big sponsors of both political parties, not to mention the bill for paying for the use of Manoel Island.

Manta is probably owned by zammit tabona, this lido is subject to a number of enforcements as it was illegally enlarged beyond what was allowed in permits. This lido together with the hotel prime land was gifted to zammit tabona s by the Muscat administration against tax payers interests. This allowed zammit tabonas to build.offices, instead of hotels to generate work, and sell part to gaming companies becoming multi millionaires instantly. They also received significant MTA funding yearly running in millions of euros to organise events in Malta.W

    1. Most probably the cost of the wedding is sneaked in and billed under the Film Commission film awards of this weekend, which will be paid by the taxpayers.

No wonder they refuse to reveal the outrageous spending of the Malta Film commission. Only god knows how many private foreign trips, parties, etc. are engineered to be paid by the Malta film commission.

  11. Well done for the new format.

However, unless I’m missing something, I do not see any dates & timeline with the posted news in the new version, as there were in the previous one.

I find this quite misleading since I wouldn’t know if I’m reading a current post or an older one. Especially so, when there are links to other stories included.
