Clayton Bartolo and Amanda Muscat took money from the government (fraudulently) while preparing their new restaurant in Naxxar: Tax-Xalluwa Café Bar

The most reported scandal today involves a fraudulent €70,000 contract awarded to Amanda Muscat, wife of the Minister of Tourism, Clayton Bartolo. Amanda Muscat and Clayton Bartolo, whose recent marriage was also the subject of a scandal, used their surplus funds to invest in a new café in Naxxar. We can confirm that the establishment is called Tax-Xalluwa Café Bar and it is now open.

Clayton Bartolo’s canvassers and supporters are enthusiastically promoting it.

  4. How do you effing pronounce that?? What a load of crap. Off topic but what’s this madness of doing road works non stop?! The air quality is having devastating effects on the lungs of many. Forget going for a walk with all the contaminants in the air that digging up roads brings. That’s the only industry Labour have managed to sustain – digging up roads! The pits. Quality they say…third world quality. When is election time?
