Riots against Syrians in the city of Kayseri in Turkey

There were riots against Syrian refugees yesterday night in the Turkish city of Kayseri, after a Syrian national sexually molested a five-year old boy. Houses, vehicles and workplaces of Syrian refugees were burned by locals.

Syrian refugees in Turkey and Lebanon are frequently subjected to racism and are also convenient scapegoats for the economic crises in Turkey and Lebanon, respectively.
