The serial-fraud artist who owns a pseudo-intelligence firm called CT Group, Lynton Crosby, was yesterday in the news for having conjured a fraudulent scheme against Malta’s previous Deputy-Prime Minister and Health Minister Chris Fearne. CT Group conducted a fraudulent smear campaign against Chris Fearne on behalf of Steward Health Care. We were aware that Joseph Muscat was using some his associates to conduct a smear campaign against Chris Fearne, but now we also know the foreign company that was used to lead it. I was able to understand this back then because I became aware from where the fake stories where being circulated, locally.
What the press failed to mention yesterday is that Lynton Crosby was a consultant for Joseph Muscat during the 2013 general elections, and his firm was paid from the Labour Party’s election funds. There is no coincidence as to why Steward would have chosen to use his services, because Muscat was was in with Steward over the fraud from the beginning till the end.
Lynton Crosby also had two companies registered in Malta called “Rutland” which he then closed.
