Only broke and washed-up actors would do propaganda for a criminal government

We have a new rising trend in Malta of foreign artists and actors getting paid by the Maltese government to conduct propaganda clips for the government and its apparatchiks and to serve as personal entertainers for our ministers and government executives. Two particular actors, David Walliams and Russell Crowe have been paraded by the Labour government extensively.

In Malta we have discussed extensively about our objections to this idiotic and corrupt manner of wasting public funds, however there is another aspect to this story. As long as the Maltese government is willing to pay an actor to do its bidding, there will always be a broke, miserable, and desperate actor whose fame and job offers are declining, and as such, would make themselves available to take up unusual propaganda contracts offered by criminal governments

These actors, Russel Crowe and David Walliams think that since they are being paid to do propaganda for a European government, it’s somehow better than being paid by Azerbaijan or Turkey, but in reality it is the same thing. David Walliams and Russell Crowe would very well do propaganda for a any criminal organisation as long as it has, supposedly, a good standing or reputation in public. They deceive themselves in thinking they are doing legitimate work, but we very well know, that these failed actors are only making use of our public purse to grease their luxurious lives in exchange for ingratiating with our criminal regime.

Actors like David Walliams and Russell Crowe are not stupid neither innocent. They are fully aware that they are providing services to politicians and that their clips will be used for political and propaganda purposes. When they sign contracts with the Maltese government, they know they are being ped paid excessive amounts of money 0nly to serve as propganda props for corrupt politicians. They are also secretly ashamed of it because if you check on David Walliams’ social media profiles, you’d only find photos and mentions of him with a children’s activity in Malta and no mentions at all for the other stuff he has been paid for.

From an Opposition standpoint with regards to these actors, this is another case where we should seek justice and disallow these foreigners from abusing of our precarious situation. Actors like David Walliams and Russell Crowe should be shamed in public, and we should even look at legal ways to recoup our money from them.
