Earlier this week China has flown a contingent of troops to Belarus to conduct military drills with the Belarussian army. The drills are coinciding with the ongoing NATO summit giving the message that there exists an alternative military alliance to NATO. This aggressive political messaging by China is currently being sent as it increases its aggressive stance on Taiwan and the South China Sea.
