Donald Trump’s pick for Vice-President wants Ukraine to give up land to Russia

Donald Trump’s pick for Vice-President, James David Vance is quite fitting for his foreign policy of Russian appeasement. Vance is campaigning for Ukraine to give up land to Russia in exchange for peace. He brings convoluted reasons why Ukraine should do so, citing unverified claims that the US doesn’t have enough weapons to defend itself or to protect its more strategic ally, Israel.

The US has been sending to Ukraine mostly military surplus of weaponry that is being replaced and therefore Ukraine is not reducing the US military’s equipment tally.

JD Vance is a US Republican senator whose political campaigns have been funded by Peter Thiel.

Pointless investing in hi tech frigates and fighters (read type 26 and tempest) if these come into services decades after conception.
