Neville Gafa’s actual reply

This is Neville Gafa’s actual reply to my story here, although his answer to my questions here and here are more significant. Basically, he confirmed the story and that the order was communicated to him by Lydia Abela (then Party Secretary) and Randolph Debattista.

He also says that his customer care unit was placed in a different section in the ground foor at a discrete corner, however I have never seen him there during the same time he says he used to be allegedely be there.

He also rants on and on.

Labour’s Customer care unit is a farce composed of inexprienced hopefull poor sods who volunteer to carry out such a sensitive role hoping to gain some minor favour or other. For the majority such role is beyond their intellectual or academic capabilities. These are the simpletons who call us up prior to an election asking if you need anything. If one is dumb enough to ask for a favour or actual need they will sugar coat you and pass you around till the election has passed. Then there are no more follow-ups or closures. Like the Customer care units within the Ministries and OPM these set-ups are manned and headed by imbeciles with no proper communication or people management skills. There are no teams or proper network. These are just fragmented ragamuffin amateurs whose only experience may consist of organising coffee mornings, attending to the bar at the local village club, driving a taxi, selling cheescakes or plain housewives. To compound matters these amateur imbeciles are granted access to the LP’s Matrix database where they can view various forms of confidential information about us.
After the disastrous results and performance by Labour in the recent MEP and local council elections RA stated that Labour needs to get closer to the people(have’nt we heard this before!) but considering all the independent Customer care set-ups Labour has at its disposal, why did RA feel the need to say this? The reason is obvious because there is no actual centralised Customer care network between the Labour Party, OPM and the Ministries. Therefore both the OPM and the Party do not have a true realtime picture of the situation of what is actually happening and status of the cases raised by the public.
