Seems like the serious problems with our electric grid are still persisting a year on after a month of regular blackouts. Blackouts and generators are back, and Enemalta says the situation will persist until the new temporary power-station is imported.

This year we are “”””celebrating”””” 60 years of Independence. 60 years on, and can’t even sort out the most basic of things like waste collection and electricity distribution. Independence was and will remain Malta’s greatest mistake.

Its not the generation that the problem, its the distribution, we have cables that are decades old and now in one decade have almost doubled the housing market, well done PL for keeping your hands in your pockets and doing nothing about upgrading the infrastructure to keep up with the uncontrolled building you are allowing
The new normal is replacing the old normal which was powercuts and candles and kerosene/gas lamps.
