First photos of Xi Jinping after the Central Committee’s Plenary Session

China’s main state-media agency, Xinhua has released the first photos of Xi Jinping following the end of the Central Committee’s Plenary Meeting where he can be seen visiting the Vietnamese Embassy in Beijing to mourn the death of the Secretary General of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Nguyen Phu Trong.

The Central Committee’s session took place amid a swirl of rumors that Xi Jinping had a stroke during the session. Nothing new came out of the session as an economic crisis keeps unfolding inside China which is barely discussed by state media.

Chinese journalist Jennifer Zeng, who was first to report the news about the stroke, has also reported that Party advised Xi Jinping to make a public appearance to quash rumours of his ill-health.
