Police Commissioner Angelo Gafa is not saying the truth about the Pilatus Inquiry being “vague”

Thanks to Mister Ranger who is always at the ready to keep us updated with Police Commissioner Angelo Gafa’s nefarious lies. Yesterday, Gafa was going on about studying “money-flows” and whatnot. He also said that the Pilatus Bank Magisterial Inquiry was vague and that is why he did not prosecute many people about this major corruption scandal.

What money-flows? What kind of stuff is he smoking that is giving him these massive delusions? Actually, it makes sense that the police are smoking their own evidence stash. I nearly fell off the chair laughing when I heard him say that. He’s studying the “money-flows”.

Angelo Gafa is studying nothing. His desk is littered with files and reports of actual and detailed money-flows and complex intelligence that he does not act upon. No one at the FCID is doing “money-flows”, and the best they are doing is tracking and locating the source of the illegal proceeds with regard to investigations which fundamentally are not financial in nature, such as on contraband or drugs.

What is also untrue in what he said yesterday is that the Pilatus Bank Magisterial Inquiry was vague and that is why the police did not prosecute various individuals related to the case. The actual inquiry tells a different story especially with regard to Ali Sadr Hasheminejad, Antoniella Gauci and Mehmet Tasli who have not yet been charged.
