No security breaches from our end: wrong Mark Camilleris targeted by foreign hacker group

No security breaches of any sort were detected on my devices yesterday as my WhatsApp account was shut down. I will soon be using a new number for my WhatsApp communication. I am still available on Signal with my old number. My email inbox is secure and there were no breaches. In March, I received a virus attack and my system detected the virus immediately. My system was upgraded since then.ย  No accounts or data were breached.

During the past few months a foreign hacking group has been trying to gain access to my computer. The hackers mistakenly gained access of computers of two other Mark Camilleris. I am aware of this because the data of these individuals has been dumped on the Dark Web.

I have informed one of the Mark Camilleris about this and will soon inform the other one as I still don’t have his contact. The computers of these individuals have been breached and their personal data including data of many of their accounts has been deposited on the Dark Web. Their data is accessible online and can be downloaded. I advise these individuals to file a report with the Police.

Earlier this year in January this website received an attack from a hacker group from Moldova. The group did not successfully breach the security of the website.

We take our security, data and sources very seriously so we invest a lot of time and resources in it. We are currently in the process of once again upgrading our system to make it even more secure.

Note, that we have detected no data branches from our end and none of our communications or private data is online. Our systems remain secure.
