This is the part of the court document which indicted Chris Fearne and Edward Scicluna. As you can see the document clearly states that Edward Scicluna never voted against the Vitals and Steward concessions and for this reason he will be indicted. Chris Fearne’s story is similar although unlike Scicluna, Fearne seems to have tried to cancel the fraudulent contracts altogether.
Edward Scicluna has ambarressed himself and the whole nation with his obstinancy to stay on as Central Bank Governor. He has shown his true opportunistic, infantile, and selfish characteristics. On top of this, he has an excessive confidence he will be absolved by the Court despite the Court indictment not being so equally optimistic about his fate.
Note, the difference between him and Chris Fearne who resigned in genetlemanly manner with multiple statements by the Labour Parliamentary Group showing him support. I can confirm with absolute clarity that Robert Abela and cabinet members have been shocked and even disgusted at Edward Scicluna’s behaviour and that is a very low bar to hit.
