Jesmond Gatt (Ix-Xemx) fighting for his life at Mater Dei Hospital

Jesmond Gatt (Ix-Xemx), who was found in a pool of blood in his cell in Mount Carmel, is fighting for his life at Mater Dei hospital with doctors having little hope he will survive. His family are currently accompanying him in hospital.

There are reports that at one point in time, Jesmond Gatt shared his cell at  Mount Carmel with two other inmates.
