No endorsements for Jason Micallef by Labour delegates: only Robert Musumeci and his government employee

Joseph Muscat’s bid to take over the Labour Party is already a massive flop, with Jason Micallef, Muscat’s own man, receiving no endorsements from Labour Party delegates. Prime Minister Robert Abela has already poured cold water over this misadventure saying that the Labour Party needs to look forward and backward.

Backward indeed. Jason Micallef was responsible for the worst period of the Labour Party throughout all of its history. A disaster of an imbecile who plunged the Labour Party into a disorganised mess along with its alcoholic leader who couldn’t care less.ย  Joseph Muscat’s first act as party leader was to sack Jason Micallef from Secretary-General. Knowing nothing more than being a servile imbecile, he is now at Muscat’s service, clutching at any opportunity he sees that can make him relevant.

So far, Jason Micallef has been endorsed by Robert Musumeci, an ex-PN politician who moved to Labour for money and career, and one of his employees at the V18 Culture Agency, now Valletta Agency or whatever. I know many of the Labourites who are congratulating him on Facebook and many of these will often speak ill of him behind his back.

The circus continues.

  1. […] Will this tradition continue? Most probably. Not because of Jason Micallef, however. Most probably Robert Abela won’t have his own contender for the Deputy-Leadership race unless Silvio Schembri decides to contest, who surely and squarely, has by far much better chance of getting chosen than Jason Micallef. 2. Spot on Mark. Jason Micallef is a cheap imitation of a politician with a self-inflated ego that knows no bounds. His only real foray into politics was when he was elected as a counsellor in Mosta as he benefitted from the populartity of his late uncle, a true gentleman and staunch socialist, the late Freddie Micallef(RIP). During his tenure as secretary general of the MLP under Alfred Sant, the party was not only debt ridden but bereft of any vision or direction. Jason Micallef thinks he is god’s gift to humanity and even now he is projecting himself to be the lone ranger, the one true saviour of the Labour Party. In 2022 he critiscized the Labour government for approving Joseph Portelli’s swimiming pool in Marsalforn while at the same time supporting the biggest political conman that has appeared on the Maltese political scene. Jason is also fully aware that the Labour Party as he and Alfred Sant left it is no more. Today it is owned by the likes of Joseph Portelli, DB, Bonnici Bros. the Fenechs and the rest of the cabal that runs Malta along with the likes of Joseph Cuschieri, Ryan Fava, Musumecci, Navarra, Bonello etc, etc… I for one am waitng to hear Jason’s strtegic proposals as how he plans to take back the party and restore authority back within the party delegates and executive. How he plans to restore the influence and respect the LP local club and district committees/councils had. How the party under his direction is going to curb the blatant abuse of power and authority by the infantile arrogant Ministers who hop step and jump from one mess to another. How the Labour Party is going to strive for increased efficiency and accountability within all Government entities and the civil service where icompetence, inefficiencies ,arrogance and disregard to the needs of the common citizen have become the order of the day.

  5. I happen to know Jason quite well. The biggest imbecile and brown noser ever met in my life. Nothing else to add.

  7. […] Jason Micallef, who is contesting the Labour Party’s Deputy-Leadership race is already short of a majority, and to a large degree. Three Labour Party stalwarts have all lined up against him, and they all have a significant reach with the delegates of their districts. These are Glenn Bedingfield (South Kottonera), Chris Bonett (Northern Harbour) and Clint Camilleri (Gozo). […]
