Two Egyptians investigated for fraudulent ID Cards have referred the Police to Bernard Attard

Two Egyptians who have been investigated by the Police over their fraudulent Identity Cards have told the Police during their interrogation that they were provided their fake cards by Bernard Attard upon paying him up to €4,000. Bernard Attard was an Identity Malta employee and also a first cousin to the Maksar brothers.

One of the Egyptians has also told the Police that Bernard Attard runs a prostitution ring with Colombian women brought to Malta illegally. He is also being accused of having laundered his proceeds through a hostel he owns in Balluta, Saint Julian’s.

Bernard Attard spread the word that he has been allowed this impunity by Cabinet Secretary Ryan Spagnol, but Spagnol is also currently victim to a smear campaign by Joseph Muscat’s faction which is smearing its opponents in the Labour Party.
