Ishmael Psaila’s troubles in Court

Ishmael Psaila’s court case was pulled down from the Justice Services website soon after I published this article, so I am uploading it here.

Comments

  1. How did he manage to get the case pulled down from the website? Shouldn’t it be public access?

  2. Why the article if he was found to be not guilty?

    1. Because he is a public figure, the public deserves to know who is managing it! Regardless of guilt or innocence, he is not your average Joe. If he stole when he was young and broke, imagine what he might do now that he has money. This petty crime sheds light on his character. If he didn?t want his dirty laundry aired, he should have stayed out of the public eye!

      1. So if I falsly accuse you of something then guilt or no guilt by the court you are guilty becUse mud thrown sticks?

  3. @ Wish

You are missing the part about him being fired from two jobs independently because of similar accusations. Getting accused once of something may be a conspiracy but getting accused of the same thing independently by different people starts smelling fishy, even if no court finds you guilty. That is why the story is in the public interest.

As for the case of the misplaced mobile phones, Mark was upfront about Ishmael Psaila being found not guilty. I don’t understand the urge to have the court case pulled down, either by Mr Psaila, politicians or the courts. It is in the interest of people accused of crimes to have details about courts finding them not guilty publicly available. Otherwise, the story that one was once accused of something keeps doing the rounds and there is no way for average joes to check out the outcome.

By reading the court case, I will remember that he was found not guilty of theft. Had I not read it, I would have only remembered that he was once accused of theft. Publicly available court cases set the record straight. Why would anyone interested in the truth not want that?
