I’ve seen more headlines about the murderer than about Nicolette Ghirxi

Journalists have recently taken up some very perverted and gawking habits by writing detailed biographies of the murderer of Nicolette Ghirxi. One profile may have been enough because I have seen more headlines about him than about Nicolette Ghirxi herself.

It would be great if there would have been more about her out there and I couldn’t find anything other than that she worked at the Rabat HSBC branch – which is a very interesting fact for me personally. I have a soft spot for HSBC employees of the Rabat branch given I struck a very good deal there in 2019. The employees there back then were fantastic and gave me an excellent deal from which both the bank and I made profit. I don’t think I will ever find a bank branch that accommodates me to that extent ever again, but back then rates were also lower.

If Nicolette Ghirxi worked at the Rabat branch in 2019 then in that case I would have definitely met her and even greeted her at some point because there were only three employees including a manager with whom I used to speak to. The manager left to a higher position in the bank and eventually Nicolette Ghirxi was appointed manager herself of the branch herself.

Nicolette Ghirxi was also responsible for the loans of the bank’s branch, so if she worked on loans in 2019, she had definitely worked on mine.

  1. Precisely. Also, why was coverage of a silent protest in Valletta only included on one media portal and not on the rest and then removed?! It’s ok however to cover morning coffee protests outside the courts in support of the cabal. That’s Malta for you where launching massive fireworks in built up areas is accepted (Tuesday evening, il-wied…) but protecting the vulnerable is a waste of time.
