Chinese Coast Guard deliberately attacks and rams into the Filipino Coast Guard

Yesterday, the Chinese Coast Guard have once again deliberately attacked and rammed two Filipono ships at the Sabina Shoal. The Chinese Coast Guard and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs denied they attacked the Filipino ships but videos that have emerged of the incident clearly show the Chinese intent and action to attack and damage the Filipino ships.

The Filipino ships that have been rammed are the BRP Bagacay and BRP Cape Engaño. China is attempting to build a naval base on the Sabina Shoal, which lies more than 1,000 km from China’s coast and within Filipino waters. The last time the Chinese attacked the Filipino Coast Guard at the Sabina Shoal was in June.
