The current Head of the MSS is a previous customs officer who likes speaking about his vote to his colleagues, like many of them do. Somehow even Angelo Gafa was privy to these conversations.

Perhaps, the real reason why Malta’s hackers are being left to be eaten by piranhas is because our head of the MSS is simply another equivalent to Lawrence Cutajar who only survived his term in office because everyone forgot about him and he has a lot of embarrassing things to say about many people.

    Head of MSS (Malta Security Services), Joe Bugeja, seems very relaxed about sharing authority over his officers with David Gatt, and thus with Chris Cardona too. The time will come when there will need to be an honest discussion about the complete disbandment of the MSS and Malta Police Force due to the endemic corruption. Widespread criminal prosecution of the officers will be necessary before newly formed replacement organisations could be trusted.
