Several young PN Mayors vying for Secretary-General Post

There are several young PN Mayors vying for the vacant post of Secretary-General of the Nationalist Party. These include Gabriel Micallef, Mayor of Mellie?a and Baskal Psaila, Mayor of ?ebbu?.

The Nationalist Party’s leadership expects another young candidate to replace its previous Secretary-General Michael Piccinino, as it continues its policy to promote its younger and emerging politicians. There are no candidates from the old guard vying for the post and an emerging face is expected to take the post.

    How the tables have turned in that respect. Back in 2013 and for many years after that, it was the PL with young faces and the PN with old ones. The roles have changed now and we see Labour with many old faces.

    Just exactly what the party needs, using one of the most important roles as a vehicle to self-promotion.
