No message by the Labour leadership either other than appeasement to Joseph Muscat

The Labour Party is currently running a propaganda campaign to promote its new elections and appointments to its deputy-leadership and executive committee and there’s nothing of substance to it because the leader and Prime Minister himself, has nothing to add.

There is no ulterior and substantive message from these Labour Party elections other than sending the message to the Labour electorate that the Labour Party is at peace with Joseph Muscat, simultaneously telling the rest of the electorate and the Justice system to sod-off.

It’s a fascinating exercise in self-destruction as the Robert Abela rolls out Darth Vader, who still defends his previous and criminal master. I’m sure all of this is not going to end well for the Labour Party in the next general elections, especially if PN keep pitching more young candidates.

  1. Oh ffs, the country is in a monumental crisis and the Labour party’s only concern is of playing musical chairs. The state is led by a person who prefers to wine and dine in expensive restaurants abroad rather than be in the trenches and sort out the mess. This is now beyond belief. Doctors at MDH are overwhelmed and have now been asked to do id checks on people. Incredible. And what’s all this about the PN being asleep? Well yes ok that’s partially true (Bernard get a flipping grip) but ultimately it’s the people who need to get off their backsides and do something. Many will tell you they’re doing well renting their studio flat to some gaming company employee for example. People don’t care…unless the money, income stops flowing. The Maltese are such a breed. Forget comparisons with Scandinavian countries. Our god is money. The majority couldn’t give a monkeys if the sea is contaminated with E coli, tampering in the ID system, tampering in car license points. They couldn’t care even about the most fundamental layer, now a dysfunctional pillar, the national health service. It is the minority that has always turned things round. Forget political parties. Vote for Pn in the next election to get rid of the cabal and ensure some form of government. That’s all. Ultimately it’s the minority who need to lead the way. I’ve said this before, the country is in crisis. The effects of corruption are starting to bite. People in civil service are becoming disenchanted, scared even of doing their job. It’s crumbling. But hey I’m due rent payment soon and that’s what matters. What a sorry state of affairs.

PL will still win the election. They have more than a billion euro that they can splash on the electorate and friends.
