The Malta Security Services, an organisation run by people who are not serious, has at least two foreign senior analyst officials on its payroll, a man from the United States and a lady from The Netherlands.
They have not been appointed by merit, but have been politically appointed because of their local political connections and extended relations to local politicians.
Employing foreigners to one’s national security service as officials is highly irregular and bizarre to say the least, but also reckless.
