Largest protest in Tel Aviv so far this year

Yesterday, Tel Aviv saw the largest protests of the year against Netanyahu and his government, with up to 400,000 people protesting in the city, according to official police estimates.

Protesters are demanding an end to the war in Gaza, the return of the remaining Israeli hostages under Hamas’ captivity and the resignation of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government.

Up to 50 Israeli hostages remain in Gaza as the IDF fights Hamas in the north of Gaza, and invades the West Bank.
