A long Chinese story that started in Tianjin and continued in Shanghai

The Labour Party has been preparing the red carpet for Chinese business interests from the early days when Joseph Muscat became its leader. All along throughout the work both the Labour Party and the Labour government did with the Chinese was monitored and guided by the Prime Minister’s consultant consultant Louis Grech. One of the earliest brokers and contacts with the Labour Party and Chinese business interests was Christopher M Steadman who ran a Nexia franchise in Tianjin China.

Tianjin has a particular history with Malta through various cultural activities and festivals which eventually lead to the Labour Party visiting its international fairs. However meetings then proceeded to Shanghai where the Labour Party even signed an MOU with the Communist Party of China before it entered office in 2013.

During cabinet meetings that discussed Electrogas or China, Louis Grech was present. He also attended a meeting with the CEO of the Residency and Visa Agency, under this administration, where he berated him for not issuing more permits to the Chinese. Louis Grech has always been the go-to-consultant on Chinese and foreign business matters both to Joseph Muscat and Robert Abela.

There’s much more to the story about Joseph Muscat’s relationships with the Chinese and how the Labour government has turned Malta into a Chinese laundromat.
