Let me make this absolutely clear. Neville Gafa was and is still a professional criminal under Joseph Muscat’s wing. He spent his years of the Joseph Muscat administration engaging in shady deal, defrauding Libyans over visa permits, and today, boasts of working as a professional sanction breaker for the Russians. He also published a violent threat against me as a journalist and a publisher. apart from regularly smearing individual prosecutors.
I understand that many of you are exasperated by Neville Gafa’s return to the public eye, something made possible by a Police Commissioner who has, for at least four years, granted criminals like him carte blanche. What I mean is that Neville Gafa, like Joseph Muscat, remains free because Angelo Gafa has willingly and consciously engaged in obstruction of justice.
It took me a year to publish Rosianne Cutajar’s chats with Yorgen Fenech after she took me to court with vexatious libel suits. It will take longer to ensure that our justice system prosecutes her for her crimes.
Those who are exasperated and feeling sad about everything in their country right now, I tell you don’t lose hope because crime will pay. Do you think I would ever allow a vile criminal and Russian-asset to bully my friends and myself to this extent without reacting? Just because I am silent, it doesn’t mean I am doing nothing about it. It means that my best course of action right now is to wait, have patience and remain silent.
Our nation will come out of this better and in the future we will be celebrating the life of people like Karl Gouder without the criminal shadow of Labour’s criminal estate. The future is bright.
