No pending investigations by the MSS over covert disinformation campaigns by foreign security services

The Malta Security Services has never briefed the local Police or government officials over Russian and Chinese disinformation campaigns in Malta. There has also never been any information or educational sessions held by the MSS to the Police or to other authorities on this subject.

This doesn’t mean that there are no disinformation campaigns being conducted in Malta or in relation to it. It only means that this issue was and is not a priority for the MSS.

This I could confirm from various internal sources.
