Yesterday in Court, Joseph Muscat’s legal defense team were trying to undermine a the court’s experts testimony who was appointed to draw up the Magisterial Inquiry on the Vitals and Steward frauds.
Somehow, Joseph Muscat’s legal team got hold of an email sent by the court expert to Police Commissioner Anġlu Gafa and deputy-Commissioner Alexandra Mamo. The email was a technical documented requested by the Police Commissioner himself, but the legal defense team used to document to imply that the court expert was soliciting for work.
Jason Azzopardi and Robert Aquilina are now accusing the Police Commissioner of having leaked the document to Joseph Muscat’s defense team. The case definitely sounds strange and irregular because who could have leaked such a letter and of all people to Joseph Muscat and his legal defense team?
