The Sudanese Army has continued with its steady pace of victories against the Raid Support Forces (Janjaweed) in Darfur after it recaptured the military base of Bir Mazeh also capturing a large number of heavy weapons in the process. The Sudanese Army has also moved from Kulbus to the mountainous Jebel region where fighting is continuing. The Jebel mountainous region contains gold mines which are funding the RSF.
The Sudanese Army is currently battling the RSD in various fronts including in Darfur and the capital city of Khartoum. The RSF has also failed to capture the city of Al-Fashir in Darfur.
The Sudanese Resistance that is fighting on the side of the Army has also issued a report that the brother of the RSF leader Hemeti, Musa Hamdan Dagalo was killed in action but there have been no confirmations on this report so far.
