Moviment Graffitti has been making some outlandish statements lately regarding international affairs, but of all things, they were censored by the University Students’ Council at the University of Malta for distributing abortion pamphlets. You can see the pamphlet below.
I’m not going to say what has already been said in the press, and of course I am against this blatant form of censorship, but the over-zealous individuals who did this stupid act of censorship, surely aren’t reading this website.
The University Students’ Council is associated with the Nationalist Party given that the party in office are the Christian-Democrats and it has been like this for a very long time. This activist militantism against abortion by the Christian-Democrats and their Nationalist peers will come back to haunt them later at the general election.
