Israel bombs south Beirut with bunker-buster bombs: also targets a Red Cross convoy in the south of Lebanon

Last night, Israel has bombed the south of Beirut with bunker-buster-bombs. IDF officials have claimed that senior Hezbollah officials, including Hashim Safi Al Din, touted as Hassan Nasrallah’s successor have been targeted. There is yet no official confirmation of his death.

The IDF is still fighting Hezbollah on the ground in the south of Lebanon. At least one Lebanese soldier and four medics were killed when the IDF targeted a Red Cross convoy. Reports also state that the Lebanese Army fired back.

Up to 28 healthcare workers have been killed by the IDF in Lebanon so far in the last 24 hours.
