Deo Scerri resigns from the junk-finance business to “retire”

Earlier today The Shift News reported that Deo Scerri resigned from 3514 Capital to retire.  3514 Capital was the company that bought the Bank of Valletta non-performing loans, and the company is owned by Christopher Vella and DF Advocates who are currently being charged in the Vitals and Steward case. Christopher Vella and Alex Tanti who specialise in the junk finance business but DF Advocates involvement is unusual.

Bank of Valletta tried to sell the debt to all of Malta’s major funds who all said no until it was finally sold to 3514 Capital.
