The IDF units in front of UN 6-52 have been removed

Local military sources have informed us earlier on this night that the Israeli Defence Forces units posted in front of UN 6-52, the UN outpost where Maltese soldiers were stationed, have been removed as the area has been cleared of Hezbollah units.

Earlier this week, the IDF surrounded Camp Shamrock and the small outpost at UN Blue Line UN 6-52 with tanks, bombarding the area as it cleared the area from Hezbollah.

The Maroun-Al Ras area will be incorporated as part of a new IDF buffer zone in Lebanon.
