It’s incredible how one of the only ways the Catholic Church in Europe is offsetting its decreasing number of members and monetary contributions is by third-country nationals. Clearly, this is the case in Malta.

This is not necessarily the case everywhere in Europe such as in Germany where the overwhelming number of immigrants are Muslim. However, in Italy he majority of third-country nationals are Christians (many of them Russian probably), and the Catholic comprise up to 17%.
