Up to 21 killed in an Israeli air-strike in Aitou in northern Lebanon

A Hezbollah media figure was targeted by an Israeli airstrike in a house in the village of Aitou in northern Lebanon. Up to 21 people have been killed in the predominantly Christian village with civilian casualties being reported.

The Israeli Defence Forces are fighting Hezbollah in the south but are conducting more than 50 airstrikes daily across Lebanon. More than 1 million people including Syrian refugees have been displaced from Lebanon since Israel invaded Lebanon at the start of this month.

The fierce battle for Ayta Ash-Shaab in the south of Lebanon has begun, with casualties being reported on both sides.
