The Minister of Energy, Miriam Dalli can’t find a suitable place to install her windmills and the search is desperate they are literally going to impose a windfarm just for the sake of having implemented the project not because the project has any material or commercial sense. It will be heavily publicly subsidized, of course and won’t many financial sense apart from the fact that it will provide little and next to nothing in terms of energy in exchange for the environmental destruction that it would impose.
Note, that these insane projects are being pushed by individuals who have no experience whatsoever in the energy sector and are more keen at writing political party manifestos than at actually doing things. All of this is brought to us by the same Ministry of Energy that is taking us back to Third World.
