Khaled Mashal, who is currently sheltering in Turkey, is set to become the new leader of Hamas. He does not have a good relationship with Iran and recently accused Iran of being responsible for Ismail Haniyeh’s assassination.
Khaled Mashal is known for his fiery rhetoric and uncompromising stance. He does not agree with a two-state solution and is demanding from the Palestinians and their allies a continuation of the war against Israel.
